Wellington J. Farnsworth Spookingdorf III

Here are a couple of shots from the show tonight. It is hard to get Peter Nadolny to hold still for a picture but it turns out well when you can. Sorry about the lack of posts been lazy and sick.

Raisen RedDwarf

No, not the dried grape the small blue alien smuggler with a Cockney accent and a gambling addiction.
She is a re-occurring character at SoapScum Presents (Every Monday at the Park Theatre from 8-10, tickets only 5 dollars.) I had a lot of fun sketching her up and I think she turned out quite well in a French comic sort of way. The character SoSo will be coming soon. So keep checking out my blog... please...

I'm such a TUL

My friend Adrian picked up some fine ball point pens for me the other day. And by fine I mean Phine. They are the best ball point pens I have ever drawn with. The Iron boy artwork was done using them and I have also done this drawing of the very pen I was using. Not only do they work well but they are also pretty sexy looking. Don't think I'm Weird! People call cars sexy all the time and if one object can be designed to be sexy so can a smaller more simple one. So there. I think I'm going to stop by the stationary store and pick up some more, I think I'd like to see if they come in blue.

My Favorite Pic

This pic is my favorite. I would have liked to have executed it better, but I still like it for the spontaneous nature of taking a picture that makes no sense.

The model I used was Adrian Shum, an individual who does not like to have his picture taken too often, yet who I seem to be collecting an extensive photographic library of. He does need to clean the dust off his glasses more often though.

Art for Angels Pics

The Art for Angels event was a while back but I just got the images I took off my camera. The lighting there was exceptional so I'm quite happy with how a lot of the turned out. The top is a photo of my wife to be, Beth with her art submission. underneath is a close up shot of her, and even further underneath is a shot taken of two of my friends Adrian Shum and Rob Peters.

Adrian was kind enough to post about my latest piece of art IronBoy. His kind words were truly appreciated. Please Check out his blog Mushashum which is a blend of design, science and art. Truly one of the best blogs out there.

Also check out Rob peters blog for insight into Design and World Events.

I have some more shots to post but I'll span them out over the next couple of posts.

Ironman Art

About a month ago my boss put out an invitation to a Ironman art contest. Well it is now the beginning of April and I do believe I a have won by default.

Correct I was the only person out of anybody who showed interest to finish a piece.

I should feel happy but I actually am very sad. How busy are people these days they can't take the time to do something like this. I mean mine is just a sketch coloured in photoshop. I get this feeling that life is steadily becoming this snowball rolling down a hill thanks to technology which I acknowledge helped me finish my piece, is pushing us to do more, more, more, faster,faster,faster... I think I need to go to FolkFest and regain some perspective. I also need to ride my bike again. Ahh Spring. And most of all I need to go outside and feel the sunshine on my face.

There is still time to become and Arborist.
